Coronavirus Update May 5th 2020: We have reopened for routine eyecare again! We will still be taking extensive precautions to keep staff and patients safe as can be. We plan to limit number and times of exams so we can thoroughly clean in between patients, and we will continue to require masks to be worn by anyone in the office. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon!
To our awesome and supportive patients:
We have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily restrict the hours and services of our office to the general public. Starting March 19th and for the foreseeable future,
*We are unable to schedule routine vision exams for glasses or contacts
*We will only be scheduling urgent, medical eyecare appointments as needed
Possible reasons: eye infections, red eyes, sudden vision loss or changes in vision, flashes of light and floaters in vision, injuries, foreign objects in the eye, etc.
If you are unsure whether your need constitutes an urgent exam, please call 970-461-3464
If you are due for your annual comprehensive eye exam or just need an update in glasses or contact lenses, we will not be able to schedule at this time.
*We will have limited hours for glasses and contact lens pickups: 9am-12pm Monday through Friday
*We are still able to answer questions and place orders for contact lens purchases by phone from 9am-6pm Monday through Friday
*If you need glasses repaired or to order contact lenses, even just to get by the next few weeks, please call our office and let us know. We will try our hardest to accommodate these requests within these constraints.
The health and safety of our patients, staff, family, and the community is our top priority.
As a healthcare office, it is of utmost importance for us to do our part on preventing the spread of COVID-19 by limiting potential exposure and contact between members of our community. We always make cleanliness and sterilization a top priority and have increased these measures drastically in recent weeks. But the CDC and the American and Colorado Optometric Associations have strongly advised postponing routine eyecare visits to limit the potential spread of this virus, and we intend to follow the guidelines of these organizations. We believe social distancing is critical in minimizing this condition and getting through the chaos more quickly and safely.
We apologize for the inconvenience but thank you for your support as our loyal patients. We plan to get back to normal business operations as soon as safely possible. Please call with any questions or concerns: 970-461-3464.
THANK YOU from the staff of Bernhardt Vision!
